Hello Everyone! I want to tell you the presentation at the Texas Association of Addictions Professionals in San Antonio went exceedingly well. This topic is so prevalent in today’s society and the need for this training is vital particularlly for professionals such as those in the criminal justice system, counselors of all kinds, life coaches, social workers and all who work with people in pain. In addition, this is excellent and vital information for all people.
I will be presenting on Pathological/Addictions at Texarkana College on September 15th for Texas Addictions Professionals. I will include Dr. Liane Leedom’s story and her book, “Just Like His Father,” which addresses the genetic componet in children born to a pathological. She offers insight from personal experience and ways to help teach these children what may be a missing tendency of the ability to love and have empathy.
